How does Stomydo® work?
Stomydo® is designed in such way that you can use it where and whenever you like. It’s easy to connect to all taps, and can be used at your own sink. An extra benefit is that you can control your stoma care from beginning to end; especially with a producing ostomy that would normally cause filthy towels and discharge on the floor.
Installing and using Stomydo® takes you about 4 to 5 minutes, not longer than ordinary stoma care. Take the following steps for a fresh and clean feeling within no-time!
Step 1: Installation
The ostomy shower comes with a toolkit that enables you to replace the jet regulator of your tap with the right strainer. The video below explains how to do it.
Step 2: Use
After you installed Stomydo® and put the hose in its place, open the tap and adjust the water to the right temperature. Put the transparent cap over your stoma and let Stomydo® do the work. Leave it on for about two minutes to get maximum results.
Step 3: Dry Off and Take Care
Done freshening up? Close the tap, remove the cover and softly dab dry with a clean towel or medical gauze. Remaining adhesive residue can now be carefully wiped away.
Step 4: Clean Stomydo®
Make sure to dry off the cap properly after using the ostomy shower. You can give Stomydo® a thorough cleaning when necessary, just take it apart to boil the parts separately or to clean with a mild detergent.
